If you want to increase your health cap or get a poison arrow between waves, you can do it in the upgrade menu with the skulls you've collected. A fully armored archer shows up in the following wave. You chip away while evading with the poison arrow, and finally you land a headshot to kill. An imposing archer with a shield emerges as a mini-boss. You begin by shooting a powerful explosive arrow to detonate its shield.
