If you're farming Humidifiers in ARC Raiders, the answer's pretty simple once you've done a few runs and checked the wider pool of ARC Raiders Items: Buried City is still the map to queue for first. More specifically, you want Red Tower near Plaza Rosa. That's the route players keep coming back to because it's fast, close to extraction, and far more reliable than blind searching random apartments. Humidifiers are still a rare Residential loot item, they stack to 3, weigh 2 kg, and they're still needed for the Caravan Expedition Project, Outfitting step, where you need 5 of them. That's why people care. Not because the item does anything flashy, but because it stalls progression if you ignore it for too long.
Red Tower works because it cuts out wasted time. You head in, reach the building, hit the red lockers on the second floor, and leave through the nearby Metro if you get what you came for. In practice, that's the cleanest Humidifier loop in the game. The catch is obvious: everybody knows it now. If you spawn late or hesitate, there's a good chance someone's already cleaned the place out. When that happens, don't keep forcing the same dead route. Shift into the rest of Buried City instead. Grandioso Apartments and the Library are both worth checking, and the breached house off the broken highway can also pay off since drawers, backpacks, suitcases, and lockers all pull from the kind of Residential loot pool where Humidifiers can show up.
What the common farming routes actually look like in use.Older players usually judge these spots by time spent versus item security, not just raw drop chance. That's where the difference really shows. Red Tower is the closest thing to a dependable one-and-done stop, while the other locations are more about volume and patience. If Buried City feels overrun, Dam Battlegrounds becomes the backup map, mainly Pale Apartments and Ruby Residence on the north-west side. Those buildings don't offer a guaranteed locker trick, but they do give you lots of cupboards, cabinets, shelves, and side-room drawers to work through, which matters when you still need several copies.
| Buried City Red Tower | High if unlooted | Very fast |
| Buried City apartments and Library | Medium | Fast |
| Dam Battlegrounds residences | Medium-low | Slower |
A lot of failed Humidifier runs come from small mistakes. People search the wrong container types, stay too long after getting the item, or treat every residential block as equal when it just isn't. Humidifiers belong to Residential loot, so your best odds come from lockers, drawers, cabinets, cupboards, shelves, backpacks, and suitcases inside those areas. There's also some talk about Night Raid or Electromagnetic Storm helping higher-tier loot, but there's no solid proof they boost Humidifier spawns directly, so I wouldn't build a route around that. If you only care about finishing the Expedition step, the practical order is still the same: Red Tower first, extra Buried City residential spots second, Dam Battlegrounds third. And if you're sorting the rest of your progression at the same time, it helps to keep an eye on trade and gear planning around buy ARC Raiders Bp so those slower bottleneck items don't pile up later.
