How are you going to live your life on Animal Crossing Island?

Escape to a desertisland and create your own paradise as you explore, create and customize your environment. Your island getaway has a wealth of natural resources that can be used to create everything from tools to comforts.

You can hunt insects at dawn, decorate your paradise throughout the day or enjoy the sunset on the beach while fishing in the sea. The time of day and the season correspond to real life, so every day on your island is a chance to check in and find new surprises all year round. The game also features a day and night cycle.

ANIMAL CROSSING ANALYSIS: NEW HORIZONS

First of all, this was my first contact with the Animal Crossing item series and I confess that the franchise had never attracted my attention until this release.

However, Animal Crossing: New Horizons really hooked me to its island paradise filled with peace and harmony, along with its cute and charismatic characters.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a life simulator just like Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley and The Sims. Their only difference is the characters that are anthropomorphic animals that inhabit the world.

At the beginning you are greeted at the boarding gate and attended by two Nooks who will ask you which hemisphere of the world you intend to choose from. With that, you leave for your island, where you will have the mission to customize it in the best way possible.

But as everything in life is not easy, you start with just a tent and you will have to borrow 98,000 bells from Tom Nook to buy a house.

In this you will have to fish, gather fruits, branches, insects, among others. All this to sell these objects and thus pay off the debt to capitalist Tom Nook. In addition, it is also necessary to carry out various daily activities to attract new inhabitants to your island.

Tip: Pay attention to the cycles of the day, as some animals and objects are only found at night.

Simplicity and multiplayer interaction

What really makes Animal Crossing: New Horizons amazing is that such a simple game will end up taking hours and hours of play while you improve the look of your island. So don't be fooled into thinking that the game is not addictive.

The title also features an online mode in which you can visit other players' islands or welcome them to your island. The cool thing is that on other players' islands there are items that won't be present on your island. Take advantage of these opportunities to collect resources and capture new species of animals.

Capitalism reigns in Animal Crossing

Yes, capitalism reigns in Animal Crossing and you will learn financial literacy from Tom Nook. Because everything you buy to improve your island will have an overpriced price.

So, try to accumulate the maximum amount of objects to sell for a nice value and thus get new furniture and new objects for your house and for the island.

VERDICT

Finally, playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons Gold Nugget is like having a cup of chamomile tea. The game brings you a feeling of tranquility and peace when performing the various daily activities. Animal Crossing is the perfect type of game to be the escapism of a stressful day.

No wonder that the game served as a refuge for many people at the beginning of the pandemic who had never had contact with the franchise.

Despite having been more than a year since its release, the game remains extremely current and has been receiving frequent updates and new themed events within this amazing world.
