I ended up watching pretty much the entire World Cup out on the terrace. The house was far too stuffy, while the evenings and late nights outside were lovely. I carried the telly out there, sat with a beer during the matches, and sometimes a few mates came round as well. The only thing that let it down was sitting on those hard chairs for hours. My back kept going stiff, so I had to stand up and stretch every so often. It didn't occur to me until the tournament had finished that a small garden sofa with a pair of matching armchairs would've made the whole setup far more comfortable. I've decided to buy them anyway, as there will be plenty of other evenings to sit outside. Where should I look in the UK for some decent outdoor furniture?
