Need to figure out esports betting

I tried getting into esports betting recently and thought it would be super straightforward. You just look at the bracket and put your money on the obvious favorite going against some massive underdog. Then a team randomly swaps out a player right before the match and the whole dynamic completely flips. Sometimes they get forced onto a map they completely suck at and throw the entire game. How do you guys actually analyze these matches to make good picks or are the results totally random?

You have to watch the actual broadcasts and see how players communicate and adapt when they drop the first few rounds. A team looking strong on paper might be mentally checked out after a bad flight or a fight in the hotel.
