Spiritborn’s Season 10 Buffs Might Actually Change the Game

So, Diablo 4 Season 10 PTR dropped, and the Spiritborn isn’t just getting tweaks—it’s getting some solid love, especially around its core skills. Now, obviously, patch notes are always kind of a moving target until the final version, but for the moment, it looks like some serious buffs could breathe new life into Spiritborn’s best builds.

Take Crushing Hand. Before, it sent out two shockwaves that dealt half damage each but overlapped, which always felt like a bit of a waste. Now? Each shockwave hits full force, so that’s basically doubling your damage output there. It almost feels like Blizzard just looked at the numbers and thought, “Hey, this needs to pack more punch.”

Then there’s Rake, one of those skills that feels fun but not really top-tier until now. Its damage got bumped both before and after the explosion, making it hit noticeably harder. Rake fans should definitely smile here because those claw strikes suddenly mean business.

The key passive, Noxious Resonance, got a rework that made me blink at first. The poison burst on critical hits nearly doubles in damage—from 180% to 300%. But yeah, the splash damage around the target got cut in half. I get why they did it—makes you more deadly in boss fights but maybe less explosive in big crowd clears. Feels like a fair trade, but I’m curious if anyone tested how it feels in big chaotic Rift runs Diablo 4 gold.

Oh, and the Quill Volley’s Rebounding Aspect? It got a nice upgrade with the damage going up quite a bit. Yet, Quill Volley faced a small damage nerf (from 26% to 20%). At a glance, it looks annoying. But considering it fires five quills, it barely dents the meta. Honestly, I wouldn’t sweat that one too much.

All in all, Spiritborn appears primed to remain a strong contender. Some minor nerfs here and there, sure. But this class has definitely gotten some love that should make it more fun to play and a bit more competitive Diablo 4 Items.
