So, you have finally got your hands on Ol’ Tessie – and yeah, it’s a monster of a weapon. The thing is, in its starting state, it’s kinda busted. You will need to fix it up before it can really shine. It is a bit of a grind, but once you have it running at full power, it’s an absolute game-changer. If you have ever messed around with a CoD BO7 Bot Lobby, you will know the joy of tearing through waves – this is right up there. Let’s walk through how to get it repaired and upgraded without losing your mind.
First up, you need three parts to repair it. The easiest one to grab is the Damaged Power Cell. You get it from those Tempest-type zombies – the floating electric guys. Drop one of them, and the cell will be lying there. Watch out though, they hit hard and that EMP blast messes with your HUD. I usually run a packed LMG or a shotgun to burn them down fast. Next, the Cracked Focusing Crystal. Head into the Anomaly Zone and find three little purple crystals stuck to the walls. They hum, so they are easy to spot. Shoot all three, and you will hear a shatter. The crystal will pop up on the altar in the middle – grab it and leg it out. The last bit is the Twisted Wire Harness. This one’s trickier. Fire up the trial computer and keep rolling until you get “Shock Therapy.” You will have to survive in a small electrified zone for about a minute. When it’s done, check the reward station – the harness will be sitting there.
Once you have all three, head to the Power Control room. There’s a workbench in the corner with a flickering light. Use it to put the parts together, and Ol’ Tessie will be repaired. Now comes the upgrade grind. You need to charge it with elemental energy. Around the map, there are three big pylons – Fire, Ice, and Lightning. Take Tessie to each one and rack up kills nearby. You will see souls float into the pylon. It takes about twenty to twenty-five kills for each. When one’s full, it will light up, then move to the next. Do all three, and a dark ether portal will rip open near Pack-a-Punch.
The final stretch is a bit wild. Go to the portal and place Tessie inside. This kicks off a lockdown – big horde, specials mixed in, all gunning for the portal. Hold them off for about ninety seconds. When the timer’s done, the portal spits out Tessie’s Fury – the fully upgraded beast. Pick it up and get ready to shred. Honestly, it’s one of those moments that makes the grind worth it, especially if you are into cheap CoD BO7 Bot Lobbies and high-round chaos.
