What will that leave us with in Madden 22?

There is a chance that we will have to wait for Madden 23 but we'd prefer not. EA hasn't said anything at this point, but madden 22 mut coins the demand of players wanting to know more about what's happening and when the change will take place in the game is growing.

Update: Not confirmed as of yet, but Apptrigger is reporting that they've received confirmation from an EA spokesperson that the Commanders won't be present to Madden in Madden 23. More on this once it becomes confirmed. "The Washington Football Team will be updated with the new Washington Commander nickname, uniforms and logo for Madden NFL 23."

Big news incoming from the NFL as the Washington team, previously known for the past 20 or so months as Washington Football Team in the wake of (finally) dropping the Redskins monicker, now has the proper, permanent name: the Washington Commanders - which we actually like quite a bit.

So what will that leave us with in Madden 22? We have had the WFT for quite a while currently, and so we expect EA to make a swift move to implement the change and integrate Washington's new branding within the game. As it stands, it's likely they've only found out about it and have probably been able to develop it for a long time under NDA.

It's possible that there is a chance that we'll have to wait for Madden 23 to be released, but we hope not. EA isn't announcing anything yet , but the desire of players wanting to know more about what's happening and buy Madden 22 coins when the change will occur in-game is growing.
