Compared with most jobs Apollo hands out, “The League” feels almost relaxed. You're not being pushed into a long fight or told to burn through ammo for no reason. It's more of a scavenger run, and that's why a lot of players end up liking it. If you've been looking through ARC Raiders Items and wondering which quests are worth your time, this one's a good pick because it teaches you the map while keeping the pressure pretty low. You need four things in total: a Deflated Football, a Bicycle Pump, and two photos. Better still, the quest tracks progress across multiple raids, so if you only finish half of it before extracting, that still counts.
Start with the Water Towers
The easiest route is to begin in Dam Battlegrounds. Once you load in, check where the Water Towers are from your spawn and head that way first. You'll spot a rough wooden goalpost nearby, and that's your first photo objective. Walk close enough and the prompt should appear. It's quick, no fuss, and usually not worth lingering there longer than you need to. The smart part is that the Deflated Football is also found in the same general area. In most runs, it's either partly buried near the post or sitting in a nearby container. That guaranteed placement makes a huge difference. You're not roaming the whole zone hoping for a lucky drop, which means less noise, less time exposed, and a much cleaner run overall.
Move on to Buried City
After that, Buried City is your next stop. This section can feel a bit messier because the layout invites people to wander, but you really don't need to overcomplicate it. Focus on central spots like Marano Park or around the transit stations. What you're trying to find is a small kiosk. Inside, there's an interaction point for the photo of the football magazines. A lot of players miss it the first time because they expect something bigger or brighter, but it's usually pretty plain. Once the picture is done, step outside and check the clutter nearby. Look for an old bike, scrap piles, or rusty props. The Bicycle Pump tends to spawn right around there, so the second half of the quest often wraps up faster than expected.
What usually trips players up
The quest itself isn't hard. The risky part is extraction. You can take both photos and collect both items without much trouble, then lose everything because you got greedy on the way out. That's the bit people underestimate. If another player catches you or an ARC patrol pins you down, the carried items are gone and you'll need to fetch them again. Because of that, it's worth treating this like a clean in-and-out run. Don't hang around for bonus loot unless the route looks safe. A lot of experienced players do the same thing: finish the objective, avoid side fights, and leave before the map turns into a mess.
Why this quest is worth doing
Even though the rewards won't blow anyone away, “The League” still earns its place. You get a few useful consumables, some extra confidence with both locations, and a new Aviator colour variant that's nice to have. More than that, the mission shows how Arc Raiders can slow down and let the world breathe for a minute. It's a small objective with a bit of personality, and that stands out. If you're trying to build steady progress without taking huge risks, this is the kind of run that makes sense, especially when the payoff can support later crafting and upgrades tied to Epic Material farming in a more practical way.
