The situation isn't too more than what

For now, Blizzard is D2R Items taking three steps to help to make Diablo 2: Resurrected more effectively accessible. Rate limit means that there will be limitations on the speed and often players can start and join games; the development of a login queue modeled after MMOs to help ensure that servers aren't smashed due to a huge number of simultaneous logins; as well as breaking down critical tasks into smaller ones.

However, these measures could mean alienating a part or the Diablo 2: Resurrected player base by themselves. Players who run into rate limits, for instance they will receive an error message stating that there's an issue communicating with servers for the game.

The situation isn't too more than what they're running into today (but it's likely to happen in less frequent intervals and to smaller numbers of players), while login queues can mean that players will have long waits before they're allowed into the game. Both are more efficient than what's happening now however they won't be enough to solve the many calls to end these problems completely.

Blizzard affirms that it's committed to coming up with better long-term solutions. "We have people working incredibly at managing incidents at a rapid pace, diagnosing issues, and working to diablo II resurrected items fix them -- not just the D2R team, but also across Blizzard," PezRadar said. "This game is very important for all of us.
