May should bring a bunch of quality-of-life updates

The April update adds an entirely new continent that you can quest in Lost Ark Gold, called South Vern, which was an uninhabited place until settlers borrowed technology to transform it into a green. You'll require item 1340 or higher to be able to travel into South Vern. More in-game events and skins are also coming and a third way to boost a new character's status to a higher level: "a Feiton powerpass that offers item level 960 gear for you to raise your Glaivier or any other character you'd like!"

Further ahead, May should bring a bunch of quality-of-life updates and a weekly activity known as Trial Guardian Raids, which appear to be three standard Guardian Raids back-to-back with your item level adjusted depending on who you're fighting. Under the umbrella of "tentative" updates is another Guardian Raid against something called Deskaluda which resembles an armored doom chicken and the first Legion Raid. These activities for teams are the actual endgame that is Lost Ark. Korean Version of Lost Ark, increasingly wild dark dungeons that have checkpoints in between stages as they escalate into strange spectacles. The Legion Raid planned for May will be referred to as Valtan and you'll need to have at least the level 1415 before you can enter. If you're curious to see how insane they'll go check out the Brelshaza Legion Raid(opens in new tab) from the Korean version (where Brelshaza is called Abrelshud). A fight with the demon-lord who controls dreams, it starts with a hypnotic journey across serpentine paths as in the finale of Labyrinth and culminates with fighting on a form of buy Lost Ark Gold cube that is backed by a resonant opera that alters as the players move through each stage of the boss battle. It's definitely something to look for.
