The Elite Volleyball System (EVS - 500041 or 500042) is a competitive net system constructed of steel uprights, gears tension crank, and a base that is designed for competitive use on many courts.
A Friday Night Under Pressure
Imagine six matches being played right next to each other in a single gymnasium during a single Friday night, and all of them are being observed by the referees, the coaches, and their respective families.
The referees will require the net height to be perfect at all times, without any delay due to a system that loosens up from tension when changing sets. This is precisely what the EVS - 500041 or 500042 (Elite Volleyball System) is made for.
Why Tension Consistency Matters
This particular net, which loosens up during the game, impacts the way the ball reacts around the net without anyone knowing about it immediately. The players react to this automatically by changing their timing, which may impact spiking, blocking, and serve receiving without anyone knowing why they are losing their timing.
The geared crank in this particular system holds the tension steady, making the net the same from the very first serve in the first game until the last point of the sixth game.
Weighing the Investment
Most athletic directors do a careful comparison shopping for sports equipment pricing on the Internet before making such a large purchase of equipment. Even though the EVS system is more expensive than the entry-level net, tournament organizers will not experience any equipment malfunctions with this system, thus avoiding any delays or frustration among other challenges.
Planning Ahead for Multi-Court Venues
Courts that operate multiple courts simultaneously sometimes require more than one set of equipment to ensure a level playing field across all the courts regardless of the court on which the team is placed.
Purchasing equipment sets from the same manufacturer eliminates small differences that might occur with mixing sets. In addition, training of employees is simplified because the employees only have to know how to adjust one set of equipment.
