The creation of a mobile version of Path of Exile

The creation of a mobile version of Path of Exile isn't surprising when considering the current acquisition of the developer. The consumer base in markets has been POE currency trade viewed as lucrative, and having a name is guaranteed to be profitable.

Tencent is no stranger to mobile gaming and is one of the most dominant gaming companies. Since 2011 popular games have been hosted by them at the Call of Duty series, and are now owners of League of Legends.

Path of Exile might appear somewhat out of place in contrast to the games offered or owned by Tencent, but the sport is an ideal fit for the mobile sector. The game is currently Free to Play with cash buys available for microtransactions of items, and this model has been successful for Grinding Gear Games since 2013.

Second, cellular ARPGs are a big hit in China, and Tencent would have reason to want to capitalize on that market. Crusaders of Endless and Light of God are just two games that are popular, also were subject of controversy with respect to Diablo Immortal, which many claimed to simply be a reskin of the popular games. One could easily be confused in thinking that this to be the case when looking at the watered-down mechanisms at the forthcoming Diablo Immortal.

Path of Exile Mobile seems to cheap POE currency take an already fantastic game and simply make it portable, without a compromise to the intricate or gameplay mechanics that gamers have come to expect through the years. As clarified in the trailer, players will feel right at home with the cellular version of the game, and the sole difference is that maps will be smaller, as players use their cellular devices for shorter lengths of time compared to PC and games console gaming. We cannot wait to provide the game a try, and what's more, to compare the gameplay between it and Diablo Immortal.
