2. Choosing Your Class
In PoE 2, the six core classes are:

Marauder (Strength)

Ranger (Dexterity)

Witch (Intelligence)

Duelist (Strength/Dexterity)

Templar (Strength/Intelligence)

Shadow (Dexterity/Intelligence)

Each has two new ascendancy subclasses for PoE 2. Your class influences your starting location on the passive skill tree and your preferred stat, but you're free to Path of exile currency branch out creatively.

Tip: If you're new, try the Ranger or Marauder. Their gameplay is easier to grasp early on with clear offensive and defensive options.

3. Passive Skill Tree Strategy
