If you intend to offer pre-paid cards for free however, it's not allowed if you have people perform anything for the code. This includes and is not limited to, them giving you game-specific items, or giving the player real money or even having them click on links (and similar strategies) to give you the opportunity to get a referral from somewhere. In reality, requiring you to do anything else then simply receive the code would mean it cannot be done.

If you are talking about a sign-up topic where people could sign-up, and you draw random names and send the winners the prize (with the no-strings attached or just the code) Then that could be considered to be acceptable.

I thought of doing something similar to this: Create a thread about the contest and then ask questions like. Why should I offer you a Membership? What is it that you enjoy about Runescape? What do you plan to do with the membership? These questions will make it easier for me to select a winner and also to make sure that members are not selling the code or to avoid lazy spammers from obtaining their hands on them.

"Normal" (as as in, not Nex) GWD armour is sufficient for Slayer-related tasks. It's not too expensive (for anyone with your budget), doesn't need to be repaired or replaced, and cheap RS gold it gives offensive benefits. You should keep an Barrows set that includes every type of combat (Verac's or Ahrim's) for the small number of Slayer tasks which require high protection armour.
