I'm currently learning on pyrefiends . I'm using the below gear: Archer's Helm/Helm of Neitiznot blue body of d'hide, blue D'hide chaps, blue d'hide vambraces, Ava's Accumulator amulets of glory, magic shortbow and runescape cheap gold mithril arrows. It's worth noting that I have above that my ranged is currently 57 (not too far off the 58th level) and my defense score is 64. Any advice on what equipment to put on, what weapons to choose and what to train on would be much appreciated!
So I decided to go back to Runescape today to find that everything has changed quite a bit, Mages have the same amount of armor and HP. As do Meleers have skills, abilities, an action bar and a lot more I was left with some issues that I require assistance with:
What are the best boots to wear for Melee? ( After a lot of research, i found out that highest stats are on Mage's batwing boots, are there any better boots? are there any penalties for wearing them as a melee?)
Why should I wear Rune gloves instead of Batwing gloves? Blue Dragon vambs and Batwing gloves come with the same features but are alot cheaper? Why should I even put on rune armor in the first place!? ( Other than Vs Ranged) Do I have it wrong or have the changes made Melee the new underdog in pvp? Is it possible for someone to play Melee perform quite well? ( and what's the most effective set to do that) Do you think your Amulet of Str now useless? ( I'm not sure about the whole concept of crit) Thanks for reading my concerns.
So I am preparing my next list of Adventures for my next skill log. At this point, I'm not sure time what I am really looking to accomplish. I'm thinking I want to stay away from "getting the 99!" since I'm not that type of person. I prefer more tangible goals/etc over getting a 99.
One adventure I know about is divination. It's not my favorite, but I need to learn on it for at some...I am somewhat wanting to remain on the fence until they come up with better experience training strategies for it. (I'm thinking 48-70 is an appropriate goal for it at the moment)
Another Adventure I'm somewhat interested in is playing these boss fights in new instances (KK, * KK and) even if it's just playing at the most basic current level. Another thing I've been lazy about but that i want to achieve is 110 dungeoneering ( about 105ish at the moment? ) This could take me rs3 rares a while cause I just play by myself.
