Application Difference Analysis of Screw Dispensing Valve and Jet Dispensing Valve

In automated fluid dispensing equipment, the Screw Dispensing Valve and Jet Dispensing Valve are the two most commonly used high-precision types with significant differences.

Screw Dispensing Valve: Motor-driven screw, volume proportional to rotation, precision ±1%, immune to pressure fluctuations, full viscosity range. Limitations: contact, speed limited (50/sec), regular cleaning needed.

Jet Dispensing Valve: Piezoelectric/pneumatic striker, non-contact micro-droplet jetting, speed 200+/sec, min volume 0.5nl. Limitations: low-medium viscosity only (<20000cps), 1-5mm distance, higher cost.

Comparison: Screw→contact ±1% medium-speed full-viscosity flat surfaces; Jet→non-contact ±2% high-speed low-medium-viscosity concave/precision surfaces.

Selection: PCB sealing→Screw; IC underfill→Jet; Thermal silicone→Screw; High-speed UV→Jet.
