The control method here is slightly different, depending the game's platform, either PC or mobile, however all the core concepts are the same. You'll start a quest in the city, head out into the wild, and constantly tap or click to fight enemies, occasionally triggering special abilities or quaffing a healing potion. The battle isn't very deep but it's fun and requires a bit of tactical thinking, especially when you are surrounded by demons, and have to balance cooldowns on special abilities and a limited supply of potions.
Diablo Immortal's core gameplay is similar that you'd see in the first three Diablo games. Because Diablo is a mobile game initially, the actions seem a little less precise. Character building is a bit less precise as well as there's a general impression that the game gives players a lot of flexibility to make up for the lack of touch controls. It's not a problem in the sense that the difficulty continues to increase as time passes.
As you would expect from Diablo the game will also reward you with loot along the way that's a lot of loot. Just about every enemy you encounter will drop some kind amazing weapon or piece and you'll be constantly switching out equipment to get stronger each time you play. What you don't really need can be salvaged, and this is the one of Diablo Immortal's greatest features. Rather than just selling off unnecessary gear and scrapping it for parts, then put those parts to help you build your equipment that you would like to keep.
