Blizzard entertainment has revealed the release of World of Warcraft Season of Discovery, the long-awaited 3D real-time strategy game is now gold and will hit stores around the world on July 3rd 2003. The company claims it has sold more than 4.5 million games have been purchased.
"We're extremely excited to WoW Classic SoD Gold announce that the development of World of Warcraft Season of Discovery has been completed, and that player and demand from retailers will make this the biggest launch in gaming time," said Mike Morhaime the president and co-founder of Blizzard entertainment. "When we decided to design the next game in World of Warcraft Season of Discovery, we wanted to create something that was unique and exciting. World of Warcraft Season of Discovery series, we set out to create something that was unique and enjoyable to play. World of Warcraft Season of Discovery is the latest installment of Blizzard's World of Warcraft Season of Discovery strategy game series. The game transports players into the fantasy of medieval times in Azeroth one generation after the conflict between humans and the orcs is over. The players can take on any of the four races playable that include humans, orcs night elves, humans and World of Warcraft Season of Discovery, in the game's expansive single-player story as well as multiplayer modes.
