Osborne recently made it clear on LinkedIn runescape

Osborne recently made it clear on LinkedIn that he's resigning from Jagex after 15 years of editing content, narrative design, and lead design OSRS Gold. The decision was made in order to "test his skills in the rest of the industry." Osborne is leaving Jagex and going straight into Square Enix on the publishing aspect, in the role of Senior Designer. He'll oversee "some amazing games" beginning with Outriders.

This information prompted Redditor FatNWackyRS to contact r/Outriders with a simple message about Mod Osborne in which he described him as the "warm friendly "Dad" face at Jagex." FatNWackyRS describes all the things Mod Osborne has been doing for the community over time, including some clips, like performing as Mod Elfborne to promote Prifddinas (an Elf City in Runescape) in livestreams, joining and contributing to Jagex's goals.

Although some communities or players may be upset by the loss of the company's name, FatNWackyRS invited other Runescape players to comment on their experiences. One of the commenters feels like they've been both winners and losers because they play simultaneously in Runescape in addition to Outriders. Some were thrilled by this news, even those who never played with Osborne before, due to this positive endorsement from an individual in the Runescape community.

In fact, what exactly happens on the other edge of the Outriders fence is yet to be seen, however the fans are aware of a number of positive developments are coming to the game. Outriders' Worldslayer expansion is expected to be revealed this spring and is set to be released in the year ahead, and beyond that, People Can Fly has a variety of other projects under development, including a brand new game in collaboration with Square Enix. If Osborne will be involved in that cheap osrs accounts for sale, though, is yet to be determined.
